O3-DPACS is a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) extended to all types of data and signals that can be managed through DICOM protocol. It is the latest evolution of the DPACS system, born in 1996 thanks to the Group of Bioengineering and Information Technology of Professor Paolo Inchingolo.

InVesalius

InVesalius is a free medical software used to reconstruct structures of the human body. Based on two-dimensional images, acquired using Computed tomography or Magnetic resonance imaging equipments, the software generates virtual three-dimensional models correspondent to anatomical parts of the human body. After reconstructing three-dimensionally DICOM images, the software allows the generation of STL (stereolithography) files. These files can be used for Rapid Prototyping.

Open Hospital

The aim of this project, conceived by Informatici Senza Frontiere ONLUS, was to create a software, called Open Hospital, for an hospital in Angal (Uganda).
Thanks to our work, ordinary administrative and management practices were computerized and their efficency improved. In addition to that, more than 5 other hospitals in the world decided to adopt Open Hospital, especially in Africa, but also in Herat (Afghanisthan), owning to the ISAF Italian Command in that region.
