Conecta S.r.l.

For the past 10 years Conecta has performed an intese research activity on open source software for healthcare. Starting with the SPIRIT european project and following with collaborations both at a european level and with local admnistrations. By completing several projects through the years Conecta has developed systems that are being used both locally and internationally. For example a secure data transport systems for medical data sharing, Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and ontological systems used for international classifications of disabilities.

In 2008, Conecta became the exclusive italian partner of Akaza research (www.akazaresearch.com), worldwide leader in the clinical open source research market. Since then we have been providing exclusive support for the EDC OpenClinica platform (www.openclinica.org).
