OpenSourcePACS is a free, open source image referral, archiving, routing and viewing system. It adds functionality beyond conventional PACS by integrating wet read functions, implemented through DICOM Presentation State and Structured Reporting standards.

In its first release, OpenSourcePACS delivers a complete wet read system, enabling an imaging clinic or hospital to offer its services over the web to physicians within or outside the institution. In future releases, we hope to incorporate more RIS (dictation, transcription, and reporting) functionality.

OpenSpecimen is used across the globe in some of the most respected biobanks of various sizes and diseases. OpenSpecimen streamlines management of biospecimens across collection, consent, QC, request and distribution. Finally, OpenSpecimen is highly configurable and customizable. E.g., adding a custom field or form can be done in minutes by a non-IT person.

OpenTele

OpenTele collects clinical health data from citizens at home. Clinicians review data through a web-portal, and take actions upon data, that are beyond the individual’s allowable data boundaries. The system is aimed at increasing the direct involvement of patients and citizens in taking charge of their health, independent of geographical distances between patient and clinicians.

OpenViBE is a software platform dedicated to designing, testing and using brain-computer interfaces.

OpenViBE is a software for real-time neurosciences (that is, for real-time processing of brain signals). It can be used to acquire, filter, process, classify and visualize brain signals in real time.

The main OpenViBE application fields are medical (assistance to disabled people, real-time biofeedback, neurofeedback, real-time diagnosis), multimedia (virtual reality, video games), robotics and all other application fields related to brain-computer interfaces and real-time neurosciences.

OpenVista supports the clinical and nutritional services workflows of acute and ambulatory care facilities through seven foundational applications: the Clinical Information System (CIS); the Health Information Management System (HIMS); Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Nutrition and Food Service applications; and the OpenVista Interface Suite.

The IHE Cross Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS.b) integration profile facilitates the registration, distribution and access across health enterprises of patient electronic health records. XDS.b is focused on providing a standards-based specification for managing the sharing of medical summary documents between any healthcare enterprise, ranging from a private physician office to a clinic to an acute care in-patient facility.

Opereffa

Opereffa stands for openEHR REFerence Framework and Application. It is a project for creating an open source clinical application which will be driven by the Clinical Review Board of openEHR. The clinical application will be built on top of a Java based open source framework, which is using the existing open source Java reference implementation of openEHR.
