PROSIT Disease Modelling Community

PROSIT is an international scientific open source development community for health economic disease models in medicine. prosit [latin] = "it shall be useful"

Aim of this development community is to provide valid and lasting open source disease models for chronic diseases such as diabetes. Disease models for relevant late complications of diabetes mellitus (i.e. nephropathy, retinopathy, diabetic foot syndrome, stroke, myocardial infarction) have been developed. The future mission is to integrate also models for other chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD and more.

Opereffa

Opereffa stands for openEHR REFerence Framework and Application. It is a project for creating an open source clinical application which will be driven by the Clinical Review Board of openEHR. The clinical application will be built on top of a Java based open source framework, which is using the existing open source Java reference implementation of openEHR.

Braid

Braid is a Client library for a portion of the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) transactions.

This library specifically focuses on PIX, XDS.a & XDS.b, ATNA, BPPC and XDS-SD profiles in ITI domain, and XDS-MS (Referral & Discharge Summary) and EDR content profiles in PCC domain.

LibreHealth Toolkit

LibreHealth Toolkit software serves as the foundational API and data model for many other Health IT applications. It will be frequently (but not always) utilized as an upstream product for building other LibreHealth software. Toolkit is a fork of the OpenMRS Platform, and builds on its reliability while improving performance and ease of installation and use.

OpenICE

OpenICE is an initiative to create a community implementation of an Integrated Clinical Environment. The initiative encompasses not only software implementation but also an architecture for a wider clinical ecosystem to enable new avenues of clinical research. OpenICE seeks to integrate an inclusive framework of healthcare devices and clinical applications to existing Healthcare IT ecosystems.
